STONEGABLE RICE-A-RONI~ From StoneGable's Kitchen

3/4 cups rice

1/2 cup angel hair pasta, broken into small pieces

1 onion, chopped

2 TBS olive oil

1 TBS butter

2 2/3 cups hot water

2 chicken bullion cubes (or more)

2 TBS fresh parsley, chopped

Heat oil and butter in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add onions and cook for 5 minutes, until soft and translucent.  Add rice and pasta and saute until slightly brown.

Meanwhile dissolve the bullion in the water. When rice is just getting slightly brown, add liquid, stir and cover. Cook for 20 minutes until rice is done, adding more water if needed.

Remove from heat and add parsley.
