GRILLED HERBED CORN ON THE COB~ From StoneGable's Kitchen

8 ears of corn
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 tsp salt
2 TBS fresh parsley, chopped
2 TBS fresh basil, chopped
2 TBS fresh chives, chopped
8 lengths of kitchen twine~ enough to tie around each ear of corn

Pull down husks on the corn to 1 inch from the bottom. Remove all the silk. Cover ears with husks. Fill sink with cold water. Put in corn. Soak for 30 minutes, with water covering the husks. Add the twine to the water and soak.

Meanwhile heat grill to medium.
In a medium bowl, add butter, salt, parsley, basil and chives. Mix.

Remove from water and let excess water drip from the ears. Pull back the ears and brush with the butter mixture. Put the husks back around the ear of corn and tie securely with the soaked kitchen twine.

Roast on the grill, turning occasionally, for 20 minutes. The husks should be charred.
Serve. Pull back husks and eat.
Caution: husks are very hot~ be careful!
