   05/30/16 --- I was invited to participate in the Dagstuhl seminar     on Immersive Analytics and I am       very much looking forward to it.       The seminar will take on June 5-10.

   02/17/16 --- I am proud to announce the submission of my postdoctoral thesis (Habilitation)     with the title "Visual Analytics of Medical and Biological Data”. It summarizes my work on the investigation of blood flow,   toponome, and epidemiological      cohort study data.

I am a research and teaching assistant in the Visualization Group headed by Prof. Bernhard Preim at the Department of Simulation and Graphics of the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg, Germany. In 2004, I received the diploma in Computational Visualistics and in 2010, a Ph.D. with highest honors (summa cum laude) in Computer Science from the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. My research interests are in the integration of visualization, data analysis, and exploration techniques for the investigation of medical, biological, and epidemiological data.
