Dear members and friends of the Stockholm Phylogenomics Group: We are a little late with the program for the spring, but we think we have some very interesting events on the program to compensate. Both Alexis Stamatakis and Nicolas Lartillot will be visiting in the late spring, each giving a software demonstration and a seminar. In addition, we are trying a new format, an Open Problem Session, which we hope will give participants a chance to discuss their ongoing research projects in an informal setting. Hopefully this can lead to a productive exchange of ideas and perhaps the formation of new collaborations. In addition, we also arrange two journal club meetings. Events take place either at the Department of Mathematics at Stockholm University (Kräftriket) or at the Swedish Museum of Natural History (Naturhistoriska riksmuseet). /FR Program (please revisit the blog or look at the google calendar for updates): Tuesday March 6, 15.00 Journal Club Room 526, Naturhistoriska riksmuseet Topic will be announced separately Monday March 26, 10.00 - 12.00 Open Problem Session Room 321 House 6 (tentative), Kräftriket Anyone is welcome to present an ongoing project for discussion! The format is 15 minutes of presentation followed by 15 minutes of discussion.
