START OF SEASON 2010/2011- MARY'S MEN PREPARE FOR PREMIERSHIP LIFE

posted 5 Oct 2010, 14:17 by joshua.charalambous@durham.ac.uk

This season sees SMCHC Men face tougher opposition in the college Men's Premiership. After an unbeaten season last year winning all but one game (a 3-3 draw at Ustinov), and a good performance in the College trophy losing out to a Jo Butler team fielding nearly 11 Team Durham players, Mary's showed themselves to be a force in college hockey. After a few high profile leavers, Mary's is going to rely on a decent intake of freshers to maintain and improve on last years performance. The taster session takes place on Saturday at Maiden Castle on the water based pitch meet down there at 4pm for a 4.30pm start. It's important we do better than the girls now that bother SMCHC teams are in the Prem. Hope to see all members of SMCHC who want to play this year down this year to help with all the freshers. Also watch out for Social Sec Anna Corrigan as she prepares a mind blowing initiation...

Much, much SMCHC love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
