PASTORAL COUNCIL MINUTES - St. Joseph & St. Mary

July 12, 2018

Members Present: Dcn Len, Wendy Brys, Cal DeLine, Veronica Jimenez, Paul Lanczki, Nancy McDaid, Paul Mueller, Jeannette Pfeffer, Kathy Wickham, Bonnie Zenk.

The meeting was started with the Unity Prayer. June minutes were read and approved.

Merger: Sister Rita has one more meeting with the transition team. Jeannette will email the minutes of that meeting to the pastoral council after they have been approved. Starting in August Fr. Jack will be taking over the merger.

Evangelization: The evangelization sub committee is on hold waiting for Fr. Jack's recommendations. We are planning on giving a book again this year at all the Christmas Masses. Paul Lanczki has prepared another “Who Knew” article for the bulletin.

Activities: The parish picnic is planned and looking forward to a large attendance to welcome Fr. Jack & Fr. Tim.. Wendy is going to check with Katie Love to see if the high school students will help with children's games. The Appreciation Dinner is being planned for October 20^th. After all the Masses at St. Mary the weekend of July 28/29 there will be a reception for Fr. Tom with light refreshments.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:25 p.m. The next meeting will be Thursday, August 9^th at 7:00 p.m. at Fr. Williams Hall.
