God's Work, Our Hands Sunday
GOD’S WORK. OUR HANDS DAY IS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 13th All members of the congregation are invited to join in ELCA’s National “God’s Work. Our Hand’s” Day. Here is the Schedule of St. Mark’s Events for this exciting day:10:00 am: One Worship Service ONLY in the sanctuary with communion served.11:30am: All members move to the FLC for community service projects such as preparing personal care bags for those in need, signing cards and adding your handprint to our “God’s Work. Brothers and Sisters, It is with mixed emotions that I share some news with all of you. On Monday, August 11th, Ashley Fisher communicated to the Church Council her intent to resign from her current call and position as Associate In Ministry, Director of Christian Education, at St Mark's in order to follow a new call at another church. Ashley's last day will be Sunday, September 6th. We will certainly miss Ashley and her family and thank them for their many contributions to St. Mark's over these many years.
