* Customizable part is a flexible section of the schedule and parents/students can choose between Chinese language, Latin dancing, piano, or painting.

Smart Math:  The math sections are task oriented according to “Mathematical Mindsets” by Jo Boaler, a renowned Stanford Math Professor.

Fun Science: Each week we will be performing experiments but also exploring chemistry, biology, physics, and environmental science concepts of acid-base reactions, polymerization, extraction, crystallization, exothermic reactions, recycling, charges and electricity. Here are some examples: Which fruit has more DNA? What is mass? Rocket launch! The science of cupcake! Edible brains! My smelly, farty putty! Crazy gases!  My personal bling crystal! Charge me up!


    The camp in the nutshell

    WHO? 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders

    HOW MANY? 10 kids per session (siblings can be accommodated into        the program)


    Session 1: July 9th—13th

    Session 2: July 16th –20th

    Session 3: July 23rd—27th

    Session 4: July 30th— Aug 3rd

    HOW MUCH? $120 per week per child. Make checks payable to STL           Shaolin Kung Fu School or can pay by credit card (MasterCard, Visa,             American Express)

    BEFORE/AFTER CARE: Before (7:30 till 9 am) and after care (4:00 –      6:00 pm) available. AM care  or PM care ($30/kid). Both AM and PM            $50/week/child. 

    LUNCH: Campers bring their own lunch. Water, microwave, and                 refrigerator available

    FIELD TRIPS (with parental permission): Each week, we will be         alternating between: MRH swimming pool, zoo, MO Botanical Garden, and an appropriate park. At least once a week, the campers will be going to the pool. For each trip, parents will need to fill out a permission slip.  Additional cost of $5 per child per field trip may be required.
