Bethany CanadaBethany Canada is a senior at De Soto High School in De Soto, Mo., and plays travel ball for the St. Louis Chaos coached by Evan Beatty. To date, some of her accolades include being a four-time Academic All-State student-athlete, a four-time First-Team All-District Infielder, a four-time First-Team All-Conference Infielder, a four-time First-Team All-Region Infielder, a four-time KREI/J98 Dream Team Infielder Selection, a two-time First-Team All-State Infielder during her sophomore and senior seasons, and was a Second-Team All-State Infielder during her freshman and junior seasons.

A few of Canada’s other accolades include a Class 3A State Championship (senior year) while having a Third-Place Class 3A State finish (her junior season) and an Elite-8 Class 3A team finish (her freshman year, was a member of three District Champions (freshman, junior and senior years) as she was a member of one Jefferson County Conference Championship team during her junior season.

Canada was also a three-time Golden Bat Award team award winner (freshman-junior seasons), a Third-Team All-Metro Selection her junior season, Gateway Varsity Sports Magazine Academic Athlete of the Month in the November 2013 edition, selected to the Mo./Ill. All-Star Team her junior season and team MVP as a sophomore. Academically, Canada is a three-year member of the National Honor Society and has made the High Honor Roll in each of her four years in high school.
