Church Announcements:

  • Ash Wednesday services are:  Masses in English-8:30 am, 12:00 noon and 6:30 pm; Mass in Spanish is at 8:00 pm

  •   This year during lent the Stations of the cross will be led by a Priest and will start at 7:00 pm.  The "Simple Supper" will take place at 5:30 pm  and will be sponsored by different organizations or groups.  These suppers may be soups and breads, or macaroni and cheese and salad or tuna casserole and salad/fruit or any other meatless meal.  Keep it simple!   • Lenten Study - A Biblical Walk Through the Mass                            Lent is a great time to learn more about our faith and grown closer to God.  Join us to:                                                                           1.  Learn the biblical background to the words, prayers, and gestures of the Liturgy, all in the context of the revised Mass translation.                                                                                         2.  Discover how the Mass is a "true re-presentation" of Christ's redeeming sacrifice of the Cross.                                                         3.  Explore the three key aspects of the Mass as a Sacrifice, Real Presence, and Holy Communion.                                                         4.  Gain helpful insights for getting the most out of every Mass...and much more!                                                                      Five classes beginning the week of February 25th, either Sunday 9:15 am- 10:15 am in Lackey Hall or Wednesday, 7:00 pm -8:00 pm in Lackey Hall.  Cost is $21.00 for the workbook.  Call the office at 304-267-4893 to signup or after all the Masses on 2/17-2/18.

  • Vacation Bible School -June 18-22, 2018  5:30 pm -8:00 pm           Adult and Teen Volunteers are needed.                                             Shipwrecked-Rescued by Jesus=Vacation Bible School is open to children in Kindergarten thru 5th grade.  Each evening at Shipwrecked VBS, kids will travel through rotations that reinforce relevant Bible Points and immerse them in new adventures.  After a light meal, the evening will begin with fun songs, meeting fun Bible Memory Buddies and using all five senses as they dig into surprising and authentic discoveries.  Kids will enjoy high-energy games, crafts, drama, music, films, science experiments and more!  Registration Information coming soon...
