St John's Grapevine

'Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
'I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.'                 John 15,vs 4-5

Christianity Expolred

posted Jan 10, 2015, 10:49 AM by St Johns Gateshead Fell

'Christianity Explored' has proven to be a very popular course, giving people a basic understanding of Christianity, based on Mark's Gospel.
***
It gives time and space to think through who Jesus is....and why it matters.
***
In these troubled times it asks the following basic questions:

 What are we doing here?
 Who is Jesus?
 Why did Jesus come?
 Why did Jesus die?
 Why did Jesus rise?
How can God accept us?
What does it mean to follow Jesus?

Course starting Thursday February 5th
