St Johns Notes

W/c 16th August 2021

Last Friday night representatives from Drumaness GAC travelled to St John's GAA to present the proceeds from last Saturday's Tractor Run in aid of The Joseph Steen Fund.

A total amount of £2787.74 has been raised from their fundraiser, well done to everyone involved. The Steen Family are very grateful for the support given by so many to aid Joseph's recovery as are us all at St John's and Aughlisnafin GAC

Pictured are Damian, Kevin, Andréa and Fiona from Drumaness

The Executive Committee and Members of St John’s GAA wish to express their deepest condolences to Club Members and Juvenile Sponsors Jane and Paul O'Connor on the sad passing of Jane's beloved father Ronan.

To our Juvenile playing members Aisling,  Rosie, Danny, James and Aidan our prayers are with you all, Papa Ronan was so proud of you all, on and off the pitch, and would have been so delighted with Rosie's goal for him last Thursday night.

To Ronan's wife Sheila and all the McVeigh Family Circle we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Mary, Queen of the Gael,  pray for him.

May he rest in Eternal Peace

Our Senior men play Darragh Cross tonight (Wednesday 18th August) in Darragh Cross. Throw in 7pm. Let’s get out and show them all our support.
