St Johns Notes

The Clubhouse was bedecked with the red and Amber last weekend as our U14 ladies were in the Championship Final against Warrenpoint in Ballymartin.

After a big breakfast hosted in the clubhouse, the team bus arrived to take the girls into the heart of the Mournes.

U14 St. John’s Ladies get ready to board the Team Bus to go to the Final.

In what can only be described as a thrilling game, Warrenpoint looked to control from throw in, in extremely windy conditions. The St. John’s girls fought back hard and clinched the title with the score line ending 4-13, 1-3. This team exemplify everything about a cohesive unit.

Francis Rogan presents Clare Flynn and Emma Mc Cann with the Trophy after winning the LGFA U14 C Championship Final against Warrenpoint.

From management to coaching to players and parental player support, it’s hard to imagine how they could improve on their winning formula. The Committee and Wider Club Membership are extremely proud of their achievements.
