What a thrilling and impressive display of Gaelic St. John's and the visiting teams put on on Saturday in the Sam Toman Memorial Cup. The sun was shining and conditions could not have been better to kick off the matches.

The Winners of each of the trophies were;

The Sam Toman Memorial Cup -  Loughinisland.

The Shield  - Maghery (Armagh)

Player of the tournament - James Savage (Loughinisland)

Thanks to all the teams who made the tournament the exciting spectacle it was: Maghery,Loughinisland,Longstone,Castlewellan and St. John's.

- The Cup Final was both entertaining and tense to watch but in the end it was congratulations to Loughinisland who beat Castlewellan. Well Done to both teams. In the Shield Final it was Maghery who were the victors over St. John’s, but an excellent effort by both teams.

The event organising committee , Conor Branniff, Ryan Gibney, Martin Keenan, Cathal O'Connor, Sam Walsh and Mickey Flynn wish to thank  all teams that took part, the ladies for the hospitality after the tournament and the parents and supporters who came to to provide the vocal support. This was a fantastic day and We look forward to welcoming these teams and others back next year.
