The TeasPOT @ St John's
The Tea sPOT is open Monday - Saturday 10h00 - 15h00.
It is run in partnership with the Innovate Trust on Monday to Friday.  Volunteer groups run Saturdays.
The Tea sPOT has once again been given the top Food Hygiene Rating of 5 by Cardiff County Council.

Dates when road closures will or may affect Sunday vehicle access
Sunday 6th September morning : Cardiff 10k run. (See map at  http://cardiff10k.com/map/ )
 No access via Kingsway, Castle/Duke St, Cathedral Rd, Cowbridge Rd Bridge and north end of Westgate St.  Come in via the south.
Sunday 20th September
Rugby World Cup at 14.30 will affect acess for Evensong and may affect leaving after morning service.
Sunday 4th October
Cardiff Half-Marathon will isolate the church in the morning
Sunday 11th October
Rugby World Cup at 16.45 will affect acess for Evensong
Sunday  18th October
Rugby World Cup at 13.00 may affect acess for Evensong and will cefrtainly prevent leaving after morning service.

Sundays : 09h15-10h00 and 17h00-18h00             Practice Night : Thursday 19h30 - 21h00
Any changes and cancellations are advertised on the Tower Notices forum of the Llandaff & Monmouth DACBR.

 Organ Recitals
The next recital is at 1.15 pm on Friday 11th September by Huw Tregelles Williams (Swansea).

Tower Open Days
The final tower open date for 2015 is Satrurday September 19th (subject to the weather)
This will be a Heritage Open Day with no set admission charge.  Open hours : 10h30 - 15h00

 Chaplain Available ...
Subject to availability a chaplain is available in the church between 12h30 and 14h00 on Thursdays for listening, prayer and counsel.
Word for the City ....
Resumes Monday September 7th at 12.45 pm.  The theme for the next three months is  "Twelve Angry Men : Warnings from the Minor Prophets".

St John’s @ 7.30 - A new service
An evening service of contemporary worship, on the second Sunday of each month.  Through the year we shall explore what it means to journey
through life with the God who is Trinity, focussing in turn on aspects of God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

Pray for the Peace of the World

Gaza & Israel, Ukraine & MH17, Syria, Iraq & ISIS, Nigeria & Boko Haram, South Sudan, Central African Republic ...   Come and pray for the Peace of the World, or just light a candle in the church, where we have set aside a special place in the Chapel of Remembrance.  Church open Monday to Saturday 10.00 am  - 3.00 pm.
