Michael Olson

Michael Gene Olson, 49, of Lansing, Michigan, died January 10, 2013. Mr. Olson was born October 1, 1963 in East Detroit, Michigan. He is survived by his parents, Bob and Jean (Marquand) Olson and his brother, John Olson of Lansing, aunts Carolyn (Rev. Michael) Ruhl and Rosemary (Myron) Davis, and 2^nd mom Fran Laich from the Bittersweet Home in Lansing where he had many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Margo Whitaker, and uncle Harry Marquand. He enjoyed his packaging work with Transitions North. Memorial service was held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Charlotte with the Reverend Richard Sauerzopf and the Reverend Carol Spangenberg officiating.
