Sunday Obligation. The Bishops of England and Wales have suspended the obligation that all Catholics must attend Mass on Sunday.

Whilst this suspension remains in force, we are all excused from attending Sunday Mass, rather we are encouraged pray at home, watch Mass online, make a Spiritual Communion, attend church for private prayer and keep holy the Sabbath Day.

Therefore, although public Mass is back, if you do not feel confident enough to attend, or you have symptoms or are under quarantine, do not feel guilty about missing Mass. Rather, stay at home, pray at home. We will pray for you at Mass.
