Tuition Assistance
Up to 25% of our families receive some form of tuition assistance, which can range from 5%-95% of tuition.

Applications for July 2013 - June 2014 are available, and follow the guidelines listed below.  We will not know until late June 2013 how much will be available, but please call or email to request an application.
St. John's Childcare no longer has a contract with the California Department of Education (CDE).
We do have a tuition assistance program to provide spaces to families who are income eligible (generally limited to families whose combined income does not exceed $75,000 annually), and meet certain need and eligibility requirements.   There is also a limited amount of scholarship funding from the City of Berkeley for low-income Berkeley residents.
All of our families are required to make a financial contribution towards their child's tuition.  Sliding scale below is a guideline, generally we are not able to fund very many families at these rates.  For example, for the 2012-2013 fiscal year, we distributed $48,000 in tuition assistance.
