Youth Ministry at St. James
ALL ARE WELCOME!! OPPORTUNITIES FOR EVERYONE!!
The Youth Ministry program is an active, vibrant, Christ-centered opportunity for youth to come together with other youth of the same beliefs for a wide variety of activities. There are programs offered for youth in grades K-12 throughout the year. We also provide opportunities for college youth to gather, catch up, and reminisce with their fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Many of our gatherings take place in the Keyser-Foltz Youth House which is located at 121-123 York St. If you would like more information on any of our programs, please contact Sally Hoh, the Youth Minister, at 334-2012, ext. 207 or email@example.com.
So, here’s the thing. It’s a new school year. It’s time for a new focus. This year’s theme is “We Are the Church!”
We’ll talk about what it means to be gifted by the Holy Spirit and called to serve.
We’ll discuss ways to identify and stand up for the oppressed.
We’ll explore ways to share our faith.
And we’ll try to figure out what is at the heart of St. James that makes us a church and not just another social organization.
Children, youth and adults are invited to join us for an APPLE GLEANING SERVICE PROJECT on Sunday, October 6 from 1:00-4:00 pm. Meet at St. James’ parking lot at 1:00 pm. The Baughers have graciously invited us to gather apples to feed the hungry! The apples will be donated to community agencies helping those in need. Contact Sally (firstname.lastname@example.org or 334-2012 ext. 207) with questions and to sign up so we can plan transportation!
