    FAQ

How well do I have to knit or crochet?

All levels of experience are welcome, however, this is not a learn-how-to class. If you have mastered the basics of knitting or crocheting you’ll be able to contribute. And we have lots of experienced stitchers who are often more than happy to help out those who are just getting started with stitching.

Where can I learn to knit or crochet?

Various classes are offered at the Brentwood Library. Look for Arts & Crafts with Cecilia under Adult Programs & Events on the library’s website:  http://www.brentwood-tn.org/index.aspx?page=126

There are also knit and crochet instructions on many websites. Check out our sites of interest for a few suggestions.

Can I bring my own yarn and patterns?

Absolutely! There are some guidelines on what to make for the different charities, but within those guidelines you’re free to follow your creative instincts.

Do I have to be a member of the Brentwood Library?

No, if you love to knit or crochet and have a heart for helping others you're welcome to join us!

When & where do we meet?

We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month from 10 am till 12 pm. We are often in meeting room B, but the location varies, so check the electronic sign when you first come in the door for that day's location.
