WHO ARE SCfS? 
We are a group formed in June 2015 in the Stirling Council area, concerned about the plight of vulnerable refugees in Syria. 'Vulnerable Refugees' are identified by the United Nations refugee agency (UNHCR) and should not be confused with the complex, on-going migration crisis in Calais or other parts of Europe. WIDER ISSUES
Stirling Citizens for Sanctuary are focussed on UNHCR-identified 'vulnerable refugees', the UK's 'Vulnerable Persons Resettlement Scheme' and the role of Stirling Council and residents in the area served by it. There are, however, other major areas of concern which individuals can address in other ways:
