St. Ignatius Choir

The St. Ignatius Church Choir has been performing a repertoire of both classical and contemporary music for more than 50 years.

Under the direction of Jean Stevenson, the choir sings at the noon Mass on the second and fourth Sundays from September through June. In addition, they perform major choral works throughout the year.

A love of music is all that is required, no auditions. Rehearsals are on Friday evenings at 8:00 P.M. year round in the Long Beach Catholic Regional School library.

10:00 AM Sunday 'Siné Nomine' Singers

In response to the stewardship survey from 2006 and comments from the fall 2007 Mission Statement meetings, we initiated a "10:00 Mass Music Group" for the first and third Sundays of each month from September to June.

We hope this has contributed to our prayer at Mass and it would be great if we had more people to participate.

For information, speak with Sr. Diane Morgan at 516-432-0045.

Our singing group will go by the above name until we decide on another.
