Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
Are you curious about becoming a Catholic?
Do you know someone who is?
Are you a Catholic, but never made your First Communion or Confirmation?
Have you been feeling that something is missing in your life?
Would you like to deepen your relationship with God?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is meant for you!!

The RCIA is the process by which the Church receives new members into our Catholic community. Weekly sessions inform individuals of the teachings of the Catholic faith through instruction, sharing, prayer, and liturgical celebrations.   Fall sessions begin in September.

There are many roles in the ministry of RCIA open to volunteersThat person has great potential as an RCIA team member who has respect for the Catholic faith, strives to build community, and has an awareness that each person’s faith grows according to God’s grace. The RCIA team is not made of up canonized saints, but of ordinary pilgrims on the journey of faith.   A meeting of all RCIA volunteers will be held on Monday evening,September 21st  at 7:30 p.m. in the Msgr. Cass Center. For information about the RCIA process or becoming a volunteer in this very exciting ministry, please call Mary Cammarato  432-4370To learn more about our RCIA process please call the parish office at 432-0045.

Ministry of Consolation

Our parish is preparing to implement a ministry of Consolation.  The purpose of this ministry is to help families when a relative dies as they prepare for a funeral mass at our parish.  Our ministers are currently attending diocesan training and some of the initial aspects have begun.
