Happenings in October at S.T.I.
A busy month!  click to enlarge!

The Annual Rosary Retreat. Sr. Diane was the speaker for the day.

The altar was decorated with blue hydrangea at the May Crowning of Mary. We thank the family of Dorothy Uehlinger McElwreath. Our long time parishioner recently died and this was her favorite flower. A wonderful remembrance. Thank you!

Annual May Crowning by The Rosary Altar Society.

Congratulations to Sr. Diane as she celebrates her Golden Jubilee as a Dominican sister at The Amityville mother house.

The Easter Egg hunt was good fun in spite of the weather!
Thanks to the Activity Committee

A wonderful time was had at The Soup and Bread Supper.

Bishop Andrzej returns to offer Mass at St. Ignatius

Josephine Moriarity, Rosemary Sheridan and Gail Milne receive awards for their Catechetical Service from the Bishop.

Our Choir's Holiday Concert

During the holiday seasons, the parish sends letters to our men and women in the military service. It is a grand way to tell them that we are thinking and praying for them.

Each year, our diocese invites each parish to submit a recipient for the St. Agnes Award.  The parishioner has shown an outstanding commitment to the mission and life of the church. This year's recipient is Tess Malizia.

Father Donald has received The Immaculate Conception Medal at the diocese's Celebration of the Newly Ordained for his exemplification of commitment and fidelity over a lifetime of priestly service.

Sr. Diane recently received the Catechetical Distinguished Service award at St. Agnes Cathedral. Sister has been  a teacher and Catechist in Religious Education for over 30 years.

We recently celebrated with the volunteers of the ministries and societies of the parish.

We of course thank our wonderful parishioners for the great work that they do throughout the year.
