Rosary Altar Society

The Rosary Altar Society Mission

With devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, we are committed to praying the Rosary for world peace and the spiritual benefit of all peoples.

As Rosarians, we have a special privilege of ministering to the care of the Altar, preparing linens and assisting with decorations for holidays and special events.  We also conduct fundraisers and participate in other activities as needed for the benefit of the Church.

The Rosary Altar Society offers a deeper connection to the church for all and provides a forum to meet, discuss and participate in current events at our Church.

Please join us at our first meeting on

Sunday, March 4th, in the Cass Center, after the 10:00 a.m. Mass

Refreshments will be served & we will discuss upcoming events for the season.

New members are welcome.

New members are always welcome. If interested in joining, or to obtain additional information, please contact:  Bernadette at 516-897-1904   or   Betty at 516-608-8255

WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM?

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, more commonly known as the ‘RCIA’,  is a process for people who either want to learn about our  Catholic faith and traditions,  desire to become a Catholic,  or for those Baptized Catholics who wish to complete the sacraments.

The entire faith community of St. Ignatius Martyr is encouraged to become an important part of this process.

If you know of someone who is interested in becoming a Catholic,  or if you would like to become part of the RCIA team as a Spiritual Companion,   Sponsor,  Catechist, Prayer Partner or as an interested observer,  please call the Parish office at 432-0045.
