PARISH CELEBRATION OF  Wedding Anniversaries

During 2016 are you celebrating your 10th, 15th, 25th, 40th,, 50th or 60th wedding anniversary? If so, this is for you!!! Our parish would like to celebrate this anniversary in your life and so we invite you to come to the 12 noon Mass on October 2.

The anniversary couples will receive a blessing. After the Mass here will be a light lunch for the couples and their family members. Please reply as indicated below.

    Are you or is someone you know: Looking for something to believe in with a desire to learn more about the Catholic faith?                                                                                                                  A Christian of another denomination who wishes to enter into Full Communion with the Catholic Church?                                                                                                                                         A Baptized Catholic who never received the Sacrament of Eucharist or Confirmation?

    St. Ignatius Martyr’s RCIA is the place to make these wishes come true! Our sessions resume on September 19, 2016Classes meet on Monday evenings from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M.

St. Vincent de Paul Society

The St. Vincent de Paul Society services the three parishes on our barrier island.  Friendly visitors are available to make a social call to our homebound neighbors. There will be a donation envelope distribution this Sunday.  Please click for further details on this important parish organization.

On Saturday, September 24, 2016 the we will hold its 8th Annual Walk for the Poor.  Representatives of our Tri-Parish Conference will be collecting donations after every mass on September 17th and 18th.  We welcome anyone who would like to walk with us in an effort to end poverty in our community.  Thank you for your support.

Rosary Altar Society             

Women of Faith, devoted to the praise and honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, committed to praying the Rosary to secure her patronage, and for the spiritual peace of the world.

 It is a privilege of the Society to minister to the care of the Altar, preparing linens and assisting with decorations.  Throughout the year, we conduct fundraising activities and engage in other activities as needed for the benefit of the Church.

 The Rosary Altar Society offers a deeper connection to the church for all spiritual women and provides an opportunity to meet, discuss and participate in current events at our Church.

Would you be interested in preparing for the Sunday Readings?  If so come join us, we will be working with a monthly newsletter “Exploring the Sunday Readings”.  No cost to you!  There are meditations and thought provoking questions to explore.  Please bring your bible, if not we can provide one.  We will be meeting  in Msgr.
