We Begin a New Season


Religious Education for Children

-Registration in process. Classes will begin during the week of September 19.  Please refer to the website for further details:

In addition,  Kindergarten Religious education classes will be open to all public school children of the parish that will be entering Kindergarten this October. 

Classes will be held on Thursday afternoons from 4:00pm – 4:45pm in the Msgr. Cass Center. See bulletin or web site.



Long Beach Catholic Regional School

LBCRS will re-open on Wednesday, September 7th for Grades 1 – 8.  School Hours on Wednesday are from 8:05 – 12noon and then full days (8:05-2:30) as of Thursday, September 8th.                                                                         Kindergarten will begin on Wednesday, September 7th at 9:00 (first day only). 

First days of Pre-K will be on either Thursday, September 8th or Friday, September 9th.  Parents are asked to refer to the preset schedule as to which session their child will be attending.  We look forward to a great 2016/2017 school year.

Mother Teresa's "The Letters"

     In preparation For Mother Teresa's canonization, we will be showing the movie "The Letters" which paints a picture of her life and ministry through her letters.                                                                                          

Rosary Altar Society

The Rosary Altar Society’s first meeting of the Fall Season for will take place on Sunday, September 4th, in the Msgr Cass Center, following the 10:00 a.m. Mass

PARISH CELEBRATION OF  WEDDING Anniversaries

During 2016 are you celebrating your 10th, 15th, 25th, 40th,, 50th or 60th wedding anniversary? If so, this is for you!!! Our parish would like to celebrate this anniversary in your life and so we invite you to come to the 12 noon Mass on October 2.

The anniversary couples will receive a blessing. After the Mass here will be a light lunch for the couples and their family members. Please reply as indicated below.

St. Vincent de Paul Society

The St. Vincent de Paul Society services the three parishes on our barrier island.  Friendly visitors are available to make a social call to our homebound neighbors.                                                Rosary Altar Society             

Women of Faith, devoted to the praise and honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, committed to praying the Rosary to secure her patronage, and for the spiritual peace of the world.

 It is a privilege of the Society to minister to the care of the Altar, preparing linens and assisting with decorations.  Throughout the year, we conduct fundraising activities and engage in other activities as needed for the benefit of the Church.

 The Rosary Altar Society offers a deeper connection to the church for all spiritual women and provides an opportunity to meet, discuss and participate in current events at our Church.

Would you be interested in preparing for the Sunday Readings?  If so come join us, we will be working with a monthly newsletter “Exploring the Sunday Readings”.  No cost to you!  There are meditations and thought provoking questions to explore.  Please bring your bible, if not we can provide one.  We will be meeting  in Msgr.
