About Us

St. Hugh Council was founded on May 6th, 1992 through the efforts of Father Thomas Crowley, former Pastor of St. Hugh of Grenoble Church - and District and State Officers of the Knights of Columbus.

St. Hugh Council works closely with St. Hugh of Grenoble parish in Greenbelt, Maryland, sponsoring numerous activities including:
  • Spaghetti Dinners
  • Pancake Breakfasts
  • The Annual Chuck Hatcher Memorial Fishing Tournament
  • "Keep Christ in Christmas" poster contests
  • Altar Server Appreciation events
  • "Tootsie Roll" Drives to collect donations to aid those with intellectual disabilities
The council also supports other parish organizations both financially and with manpower including:
  • Shrimp Feasts
  • Octoberfest
  • Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner
  • Texas BBQ
The Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month at 7:30pm in Grenoble Hall at St. Hugh Church located at 135 Crescent Road in Greenbelt, Maryland 20770.
