Welcome to the St. George's Bowling Club web site!
The site was a new venture started in 2010 and as the season progressed it was possible to increase the amount of information available for visitors to view, thereby giving an insight in to the history, plans and current affairs of the most successful Crown Green bowling club in Telford.

The site will hopefully help to highlight what has made the Club so successful over many years and introduce to visitors some of the Club's achievements at both team and individual levels.

Any suggestions as to future topics or pages which would help us to achieve a site packed with useful, informative and entertaining items are most welcome and can be sent to us via our e-mail address:
stgeorgesbowls@gmail.com

So please, do come and take a look around!!!

Greens Update
Many thanks for the massive turn out at the working party on Saturday 5th March.

We managed to carry out all the work that was planned and the new coat of paint to both pavilions and entrance gate have left the place looking in tip top condition for the new season.

We even managed to give both greens a shot of lawn sand to give them a boost and another treatment for the moss.

The irrigation system was commissioned on 7th March.

If the weather is right please get on them as they will now be cut on a regular basis, gradually getting them as we want for the new season.
