Both parishes of St Francis of Assisi on            
463 Oxford Street  Paddington and 
St Joseph's on 12 Albert Road Edgecliff have been under the care of the Franciscans since 1879.

The Parish Office is located on the Ground Floor of the Franciscan Friary on 66 Gordon Street Paddington.

The Parish Priest of St Francis of Assisi and St Joseph is 
Fr Philip Miscamble, ofm.  Fr Paul Ghanem,ofm and Fr Piotr Rzucidlo, ofm as Assistants. Other Franciscan Friars in residence are Fr Hugh Walsh, ofm and Fr Brian Lester,ofm.

In 2009, we celebrated the 800th anniversary of the foundation of the Franciscan Order, which was begun by St Francis in 1209.
