Reviewing videotapes of performance

Questions for Reviewing Videotapes of Performance:

1. 1. Was my speech clear and an appropriate speed and volume?

   2. Did I speak in well-formed sentences?

   3. Did I avoid hesitation and filler (“uh”) in my speech?

   4. Did I use good grammar and sentence structure?

   5. Did I use intonation and stress to help me in making my points and guiding the listener?

   6. Did I sound confident?

   7. Did I exhibit enthusiasm about my topic?

   8. Did I transition well in my talk from one subject to another (make the listener aware of when I was transitioning and where I was going)?

   9. Did I make eye contact with members of my audience?

   10. Did I use humor?

   11. What message was my body language giving?
