Our Trip to San Diego
A Photographic Panorama by Dori Stern (Age 14), Laura Schwartz (Age 13), and Aaron Stern (Age 9)
[with a little help from Steven Stern (surprisingly young)]
Dad's Comments: Dori and Aaron were really excited by the beach. Dori went in the water up to her knees (despite its ice cold temperature). Aaron didn't go as far but eventually fell and got everything wet. Laura was too sophisticated to find the beach as exciting and thus acted more rationally (and took really great pictures).
And fourth
Dad's comments: A disaster waiting to happen
Dad's comments: These are all taken while on our way to see whales. We had many pictures of whales. But, even though it is very exciting to site the whales, you can't capture it in a photograph.
Dad's comments: We went looking for bargains in Tijuana shops. At first the kids were afraid to bargain. But by the end, Dori became a shark as she bargained a merchant from $10 down to $3 for a puppet. Then we went shopping in the non-tourist part of Tijuana (because we were lost) for sandals for Aaron. We discovered that Dori knows no Spanish as shoe salesmen repeatedly looked at her with complete lack of understanding as she tried to explain what we wanted. Ms. Sanders, you should take this into account when grading Dori for the year.
Dad's Comments: As usual, Aaron is unaware of the danger he is in as a vicious lion considers a delicious Indian meal.
