About Steve

Steve Maviglio first met Hillary Clinton in 1991 when she was campaigning for her husband in Steve's native New Hampshire. He was hired to promote Hillary's health care initiative in 1994, and later joined the Clinton Administration in Washington, D.C. before moving to California. This year, he has worked tirelessly for Hillary's campaign in Sacramento, throughout California, and in Nevada. Steve is a co-publisher of the California Majority Report, the state's leading Democratic blog and is Deputy Chief of Staff for Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez. He teaches political communication at CSUS and is also involved in several community organizations, including the Sacramento Natural Foods Coop's Board of Directors.

About Karen

Karen Skelton has been an enthusiastic Hillary supporter for nearly two decades. She was the 1992 Southern California Field Director for then-Gov. Bill Clinton's presidential race. Following his victory, she joined the Clinton Administration in Washington, D.C. She served as senior political aide to Vice President Al Gore and Deputy Director of Political Affairs for Bill Clinton. In this year's campaign, Karen was an early supporter, co-hosting her early Sacramento visits and contributing to her efforts to develop a national energy policy.
