Steven Lee's Astronomy Page

Welcome!

I have one of the best possible jobs in the world for an amateur astronomer. I work as a night assistant at the 3.9-m Anglo-Australian Telescope; which means that I get in on the action of professional astronomy, plus I get to live and pursue my hobby under dark skies away from the big city. If you want to see more of what I do, follow the links on the sidebar...

Asteroid 46568 - Stevenlee

Trail of asteroid 46568; 1991SL; Now named 'Stevenlee'.

These pages were originally hosted at the AAO, but I have now moved them on to this Google site. I've had the original web pages for many years and so some look a bit dated; many pictures pre-date digital imaging and are scans of photographs. The pages were also started when bandwidth was important and so some images are a bit small. I've not moved all my pages across, so there may be some references to pages that no longer exist. I'll get around to updating everything one day...perhaps.
