|5. Restore retiree benefits to former status ||SFU ||We voiced support for this position at the October Senate meeting & we issued a statement condemning the administration's refusal to listen to the Senate on this issue. || |
|1. Fair compensation for all faculty ||SFU ||September 2011: Won a 3% raise pool + a $225K equity "raise" pool. March 21 2011: Fac Sen motion requesting at least 6% raise pool AY 2011-12. Jan 2011 meeting with provost: suggested that spending increases be tied to increases in faculty compensation. ||Not yet resolved, but 12/2011 we won additional $184K raise pool + the transparency of the 2011 faculty compensation report + a commitment from the administration to bring faculty salaries to parity with peer schools (currently we're below the 25th percentile). |
