A Place to Share Our Work, Our Ideas and Valuable Educational Resources

Liberate Your Mind and Lend a Hand

I started this site to document our family's home school adventure as an e-portfolio.  I opened the site to all viewers in case it serves as a resource for others.  I am deeply appreciative of others who gave their time to share their ideas, knowledge and talents.  I wish to do the same.

Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams.
For if dreams go,
Life is a barren field
Covered with snow.

Langston Hughes

I learned that I could build a web site - in a snap - using Google Sites.  I stumbled on this concept, in part, by reading the book "Rule the Web" by Mark Frauenfelder.  This book was a very helpful resource, especially when I first began development of this website.  It also helped me understand how to harness the power of the web.  I'm sure there are other very handy resources like Frauenfelder's book.  I found his book on the shelves or our local library.  You should dig through the shelves of your local library.  You might find a gem hiding there.

I would also like to add that the ease with which I was able to create a web site was made possible by Google.  So, XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO to Google's founders & staff.

Some day I'll have the energy to add Share Buttons:   http://mashable.com/2011/03/11/add-social-sharing-buttons/#
