Welcome

Steve Pastner's sculptures grow from his work as a University of Vermont and University of Michigan anthropology professor. His long-time fascination with the early American West led him to conduct research on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border--one of the few places today where the situation is similar to frontier America.

His work has garnered national attention, winning him featured exhibits at such venues as the Frederic Remington Art Museum in Ogdensburg, NY, The Copley Society of Boston and the Rockwell Museum, Corning, NY.

His dynamic sculpting techniques have been showcased on Vermont Public Television and in the video production Visions from the Fire.
