The Step Action Outline is a collection of thoughts, ideas and experience of many members of AA who have compiled actions they took in the course of taking and using the steps of AA to help them recover from a seemingly hopeless state of mind and body and to have a spiritual awakening as the result of the actions taken to complete Steps 1 - 11. The Step Action group meets weekly and reviews one exercise per week. Most group members have found it beneficial to work through the outline in a small group setting. Recovery is personal to every alcoholic. The actions suggested are based on the experience of AA members. Many members have found it helpful.
The website contains the 52 week outline of actions which when completed will include reading the entire Big Book, a study of the Traditions and Concepts and a review of various handouts to supplement the Big Book, Twelve and Twelve and the AA Service Manual. After one year, AA's Three Legacies - Recovery, Unity and Service will have been explored in some depth.
We hope you find this helpful.
