    I am a middle school STEM teacher who strives to provide students with the tools that they will need to become the life-long learners and creative problem solvers.

     2001-Exchange Student Program in Japan for two weeks
    2003-Going bungee-jumping and sky-diving
    2007-Being a student speaker at my JMU college graduation
    2008-Traveling to Europe on a Mediterranean Cruise: Visiting England, France, Italy, and Spain
    2009-Hiking through a bamboo forest and surfing in Maui, Hawaii
    2009-Traveling to Germany, Netherlands, and Greece
    2010-Running the Walt Disney World Marathon with Team in Training, personally raising $5,400 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
    2010-Volunteer teaching in Cuzco, Peru and visiting Machu Picchu
    2011-Attending the Siemens STEM Academy at Discovery Communications Headquarters.
