Text doesn't inspire. Writing down answers does not solidify concepts in the minds of students. Multimedia authoring, on the other hand, can accomplish both.

The release of the iPod touch 4G and iPad2 with still and video camera has the potential to become a essential laboratory tool. The ability to record data, take video, record audio, and conduct research makes it the new swiss-army knife.
Project Suggestions:
  • Have students record video of themselves conducting the lab.
  • After the data from the lab has been analyzed, have each lab group record a summary of their conclusions.
  • Videos become a multimedia lab report.
