I am member of the High Energy Astrophysics Group and of the Theory Group at the Laboratoire AstroParticule et Cosmologie, Paris.

Before that I have been Humboldt Fellow at Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik, Heidelberg, and Marie Curie Fellow at Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.

I got my PhD in 2004 at Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory under the supervision of Pasquale Blasi.

My main research interests in theoretical high energy astrophysics include:
              • Very high energy gamma ray astronomy;
              • Origin of galactic and extragalactic cosmic rays;
              • Low energy cosmic rays and star formation;
              • Particle acceleration at shocks;
              • Non thermal phenomena in clusters of galaxies.

My team recently released the code CRIME: Cosmic Ray Interactions in Molecular Environments.

I am member of the H.E.S.S. Collaboration and I am convener of the Galactic Science Working Group of the Cherenkov Telescope Array consortium.

My research is currently supported by LabEx UnivEarthS (through an exploratory grant), Observatoire de Paris (through the Actione Federatrice CTA), and Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (through a Feodor Lynen Fellowship hosted in my group).
