I am member of the High Energy Astrophysics Group and of the Theory Group at the Laboratoire AstroParticule et Cosmologie, Paris.

Before that I have been Humboldt Fellow at Max-Planck-Institut für Kernphysik, Heidelberg, and Marie Curie Fellow at Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies.

I got my PhD in 2004 at Arcetri Astrophysical Observatory under the supervision of Pasquale Blasi.

My main research interests in theoretical high energy astrophysics include:
              • Very high energy gamma ray astronomy;
              • Origin of galactic and extragalactic cosmic rays;
              • Low energy cosmic rays and star formation;
              • Particle acceleration at shocks;
              • Non thermal phenomena in clusters of galaxies.

I am PI of the project PECORA: PEv COsmic RAys, funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche (project webpage here).

I am member of the H.E.S.S. Collaboration, of the Cherenkov Telescope Array consortium, and of the X-IFU Consortium.

My research is currently supported by Agence Nationale de la Recherche, DIM-ACAV, and Observatoire de Paris.
