About the Steel City Concert Band

Who are we?

We are a small, friendly concert band, rehearsing on Tuesday evenings near Sheffield City Centre. We have been going for over 20 years, we are sociable and active and play lots of concerts. We also have a yearly away-day where we meet up with another band.

What kind of music do we play?

We play a wide variety of music for wind band - marches, classical pieces, swing tunes, film themes and 'old favourites'. A bit of something for everyone.
