This website is designed to provide you with information about our church, such as what we do and what we believe, and also to introduce you to some of the people who worship here. It also contains information about weddings, funerals and baptisms and provides links to other Christian organisations which you might find useful.
We're very proud of our beautiful church - parts of which date back to Medieval times. However we're also very proud of the fact that it is home to a lively, varied and active group of Christians and is able to offer a mix of traditional and contemporary services, both formal and informal.
Our aim as a church is to build a community of God's people who follow Jesus in the power of the Holy Spirit. Click here to find out more about our church's mission.
If you have mobility problems, and are worried about accessing St Denys, we will do our very best to help you
We have two points of entry at St Denys. A ramp is available which can be easily utilised to assist with wheelchair access via the main tower entrance. In addition there is a level entrance via our hall door which then leads through the hall accessing the main church via the north aisle. The north aisle is wider than the aisle which leads from the tower and can more easily accommodate wheelchairs.
The church itself now has an induction loop system to help those with hearing aids and a relay system to help with those who are otherwise hard of hearing.
Our cloakroom and toilet, whilst not ideal for wheelchairs, is fitted with grab rails.
Naturally if you have any further questions or concerns then please do not hesitate to contact us.
