Parish Administration and Communication Assistant

(hereafter Parish Assistant)

Maternity Cover (6 to 12 month contract), Part-time (16 hours per week), £10 per hour.

Some fixed hours (Monday and Friday mornings); minimum of three sessions per week, worked flexibly as agreed with the Rector.

St Clement’s Church, Chorlton are looking for an Administration and Communications Assistant to support and grow our work within the community of Chorlton.

We run multiple community spaces in three buildings on two sites. The Parish Assistant will be responsible for organizing bookings, invoicing, and promoting the halls’ use. They will also manage the parish’s general marketing and increase our online and social media presence. They will also provide administrative support to the Rector.

We require someone with a proactive approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and high levels of computer literacy including database management and desktop publishing.
