The young people of the parish are very important to all who attend St Bartholomew’s. Our heart is to encourage and nurture the gifts that God has given our young people. We aim to do this through a variety of ways. The importance of having fun and making friends in a safe environment is crucial for our young people of St Bartholomew’s. Bi-weekly youth club, socials and weekends away are some of the ways our young people connect with one another.

There is a strong ethos of ensuring our young people grow in God whilst having the tools to put their Christian faith into practice. This is why we have an active WOW (Worship on Wednesdays), youth pilgrimages and regular prayers for our young people. Allowing our young people to have opportunities to put their faith into practice is also vital part of the DNA of St Bartholomew’s. Serving in church services, junior church and Messy Church are three examples of this.

A vacancy has arisen for a Project Managers Post (Full Time) in the Basement Project at St. Bart's. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified person. The basement opened in October 2014 and has developed very well. It is our hope that this post will be part of the integral development of the basement in the next important stage of its life. Anyone interested should write to Fr Martin (martinlee903@btinternet.com) for a job description and details of how to apply.
