Adults and families of the Archdiocese of Washington are invited to register now for the Rally & Mass for Life at St. Matthew's Cathedral on January 24, the day of the Annual March for Life. The 8:30am-10am Rally will feature speaker Dr. John Bruchalski and music by Tony Melendez, and the 10am Mass will be be celebrated by Bishop Francisco González, S.F. The Mass and Rally will mark the remembrance of the 38th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade, which is Saturday, January 22. Gather with us on January 24 to pray for an end to abortion and a renewed recognition that "[m]an has been given a sublime dignity, based on the intimate bond which unites him to his Creator: in man there shines forth a reflection of God himself.” (John Paul II, The Gospel of Life, n. 34). The Rally & Mass for Life are sponsored by the Archdiocese of Washington and the Association of Ecclesial Movements and New Communities.
