Step 1 - FEMA Online Self Study Courses
The following courses are highly encouraged to be completed by CERT members PRIOR to participating in the FEMA CERT Basic Hands on training.
Intro to NIMS IS-700
Intro to Incident Command IS 100.b
Basic First Aid
CPR/AED Certication

Step 2 - FEMA CERT Basic Hands on Training
This 2 day hands on training provides new members of the team with the basic training to attend and assist at natural and man made disaster, fire scenes, and accident scenes.  Participants will go over the FEMA modules, receive hands on scenario training, as well as participate in a mock disaster.

Step 3 - Optional  Training
You can take any of the classes that on the FEMA Independent Study Web Site.  Here are a few that may be of interest
CERT team members are invited to attend the Harlem Roscoe Fire Department weekly training on Tuesday nights.
