Over the past decade, SEAS (School of Engineering and Applied Sciences) has more than doubled in size and developed from a division into a school with almost 400 graduate students. (And with great fanfare, naturally - http://spectrum.ieee.org/at-work/education/engineering-the-harvard-engineer). That makes us a mere 5 times smaller than our neighbors and esteemed colleagues at the Law School, who have for years attended our happy hours, taught joint courses, formed interdisciplinary institutes, and been our good friends. So please join us in starting the new year off right with a joint happy hour, to be held at the Queen's Head pub at 6pm on Thursday October 20. The usual weekly trivia follows at 8pm. You're only a grad student at Harvard once... come meet your neighbors! A group from SEAS and HLS will depart to the Queen's Head from the MD lobby around 6pm. There will be free food!
