New in Version 1.4
Support has been added for flat-field frames which can be used to reduce vignetting and some other lens and sensor defects.
The classification of frames into light frames, dark frames, flat-field frames and masks has been improved. Also, when either Starry Landscape Stacker is not certain of the classification or a problem is detected (for example, two masks are found when only one is allowed) a table showing the classification of each file is presented and the user can make corrections. See the video tutorial below.
Pre-made masks are handled better. In particular, when a final composite image is saved with a mask (the second file saved with the suffix “-sky.tif”) this image can be read back into Starry Landscape Stacker and used as a mask.
