Coaches Samuel and Kelly Corallo









Samuel Corallo


Coach Corallo joins the Starr’s Mill Soccer Program as the Girl’s Junior Varsity Coach this season.  This is his first-time coaching at the high school level.  Previously, he coached with the Lightning Soccer Club, The PTC Lazers, and the Clayton County Glory and has coached at all levels of state select team soccer, as well as in the PTCYSA recreational program.  He holds a USSF “D” license. Coach “C” Played in several Latin American leagues in the Chicago area, at Monmouth College for 4 years a the center midfield position and as the team’s Attacking Captain for three years.  He traveled to Spain as part of a his college conference’s “All Star” team to play against division 2 and 3 professional teams, and worked out a week with FC Barcelona, where he was taught the Cruyff cut by Johan Cruyff, who was playing midfield for that team. He is a fan of Brazilian soccer, met Pele in 1974 after a game between Santos and Universidad (of Mexico) where Pele scored on a diving header and a bicycle kick.  He is a 50 year student of the game.

Coach Corallo received a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communications and Theater Arts from Monmouth College in 1975.  He spent 40 years in the corporate world, in domestic and international operations, sales and marketing, and currently owns his own international consulting and brand brokerage business in the Nutritional Supplement and Natural Products industries.

Coach “C” is married to Debbie Corallo.  His daughter Kelly is an English teacher at Starr’s Mill, and will be assisting him with coaching duties until he attends several required state classes.

Coach K. Corallo is joining us as an Assistant JV Girls coach this year. Before coming to Starr’s Mill, she was the head coach for both the Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys soccer teams at Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, FL, where she taught English for three years. Prior to teaching and coaching, Coach Corallo played for fourteen years, including four years on select teams and three years at McIntosh. Coach Corallo currently lives in Peachtree City and teaches British Literature and Dramatic Writing at Starr’s Mill.
