The Career Center is a valuable resource for
students to utilize throughout high school. Information is available to assist
student through all phases of the career exploration process from
self-assessment to implementing plans.

When is the Career Center
The Career Center is open 8:00 a.m - 4:00 p.m.
Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. - 3:45 p.m. on Fridays. Students and
parents are encouraged to sign up with Mrs. Edwards to use the facility before
school, during lunch, and after school. Teachers are also encouraged to take
advantage of the facility.
What resources are available?
- Over 130 Books on a variety
of topics including higher education, test preparation, careers,
internships, NCAA and much more!
- Career information and test
preparation software is available for use in our career center. Due to
licensing agreements these materials cannot be checked out.
- The Career Center
is equipped with computers and printers. Students can search computer
databases to find a scholarship to a school that fits their needs, then
build a resume, and access the Internet to visit the school's web site.
- The College/Scholarship Files
hold a variety of information on schools and scholarship opportunities
within and outside Georgia.
- Armed Forces informational
- Self-Improvement Booklets on
a variety of issues from stress management to test anxiety.
- College DVD's are available for viewing.
