Community Emergency Response Team
Started by City of Los Angeles and was made into a
national program by FEMA
 
CERT training consists of the following emergency
response skills
  • Emergency Preparedness
  • Light Search and Rescue
  • Suppression of small fires
  • Disaster medical operations (triage and treatment)
  • CERT Organization and layout
  • Disaster Psychology

TRAINING SESSIONS
 
The next training session will be
October 29th
at Stansbury High School
by the Cafeteria
This is a  Hands On skills day. 
 
To become CERT trained for this session you MUST take an online course and watch a couple of video clips online then come to the skills evening and day where we will do all the skills that are taught during the regular CERT training sessions.
